Job Description
- We seek a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Human Resources to lead our HR function and drive our people strategy.
- The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong leader, and a champion for our employees.
- This role will oversee all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and HR compliance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding.
- Manage the compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and fairness.
- Develop and implement employee relations programs, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Lead performance management initiatives, driving employee development and growth.
- Design and deliver learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations.
- Partner with senior management to provide strategic HR advice and support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPM) will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and regulations.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into HR initiatives.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
