Job Title: Learning and Development Manager
Location: Gujeni, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time
Role Description
- The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing effective training and development programs.
- This role involves managing learning management systems, instructional design, leadership development, and various training initiatives aimed at enhancing the professional growth and development of our employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive learning strategies and programs.
- Manage and maintain the company’s learning management system (LMS).
- Design and deliver instructional materials and training sessions.
- Lead leadership development programs to nurture future leaders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in learning and development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
- MSc Human Resources,Organizational Development, Learning & Development or related fields.
- CIPM (Chartered institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria) Certification is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a manufacturing organization.
- Expertise in training and development, learning management, and instructional design.
- Proven experience in leadership development.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with learning management systems and e-learning platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
