Description
- We are actively seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for monitoring all financial data, preparing accurate statements, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities)
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
- Forecast costs and revenues
- Manage tax payments
- Organize internal audits
- Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department)
- Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
- Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments
- Analyze financial trends
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes
Requirements and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role
- BSc Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- Additional certification (e.g. ICAN or ACA)
- Strong proficiency in financial accounting principles and reporting
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
- Excellent math skills with an attention to detail
- Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Salary
N300,000-N500,000 (Net) Monthly.
