Job Title: Web & Applications Developer
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain websites, web, and mobile applications.
- Ensure company websites remain updated with security patches, modern design, and new functionalities.
- Create and optimize Microsoft PowerApps for business process automation.
- Implement APIs and integrations between various web applications and third-party platforms.
- Utilize no-code/low-code platforms like WordPress and Webflow for rapid development.
- Proactively identify and address web and app vulnerabilities, implementing appropriate mitigation steps.
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Ensure smooth CI/CD deployment and version control using Git.
- Conduct website and application audits for security and compliance checks.
- Assist in troubleshooting software and hardware issues within the IT environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or any related course.
- 2 – 5 years experience with responsive web design to ensure websites function across different devices and screen sizesStrong background in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MYSQL.
- Deep understanding of secure coding practices, vulnerability scanning, and encryption.
- Strong understanding of web and mobile application user interface and user experience principles.
- Certifications (preferred but not required)
- Good knowledge of API Development & Integration
- Experience with AWS or Azure.
- Proficiency with Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and customize PowerApps solutions.
