Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Assistant to join our team at the BULK EMULSION-SME Plant.
  • The role involves ensuring the smooth operation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical equipment, vehicles, pumps, valves, and instruments in a hazardous chemical and explosive manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment such as Oxidizing Blend Reactor, Screw Compressor, Electric Boiler, and Hydraulic Systems.
  • Oversee maintenance and repair of vehicles including SINOTRUK HOWO Cargo 6×6, Forklifts, and MMUs.
  • Operate and maintain various pumps and valves.
  • Calibrate and maintain instruments like Mass Flow Meters and pH Indicators.
  • Conduct maintenance in confined spaces adhering to strict safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Trade certification or vocational training in mechanical maintenance is advantageous.
  • Certifications in hydraulic systems, pump maintenance, or actuated valves are preferred.
  • Safety training for hazardous environments is a plus.

Experience:

  • Hands-on maintenance experience in hazardous chemical or explosive industries.
  • Expertise in load cell maintenance and confined space operations.
  • Experience with PLC systems integrated with HMI is preferred.

Core Competencies:

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Familiarity with the maintenance and operation of hydraulic systems, pumps, and valves.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance in hazardous environments.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
