We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: BMD Process Engineer

Location: Gujeni, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Process Management:

  • Ensure proper maintenance of process parameters for SME, including density, emulsion matrix-to-gassing agent solution ratio, and catalyst addition.

Equipment Maintenance:

  • Maintain and ensure the safe operation of PC pumps, pressure and temperature sensors, transmitters, controllers, and safety instruments.
  • Calibrate all pumps and process instruments regularly to maintain accuracy and reliability.
  • Oversee the control and monitoring of processes through PLC systems to ensure seamless operations.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Maintain healthy working conditions of safety instruments and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct checks to ensure consistency and quality of SME formulations, quality parameters and compliance with specified standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to process deviations or equipment malfunctions.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of process parameters, calibration activities, and maintenance logs.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with production, maintenance, Blasting crew and quality control teams to optimize process efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably inBulk emulsion plant or Bulk Matrix delivery vehicle.
  • Proven track record in managing SME processes, safety instruments, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  • Experience in Automobile is preferable
  • Knowledge of ISO, HSE, and other relevant compliance systems.
  • Proactive approach to safety, quality assurance, and process improvement..
