Job Title: Executive Assistant to the MD/CEO
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Description
Support the MD in pursuit of strategic initiatives. Sub tasks include but not limited to the following:
- Carrying out market research and trend analysis
- Performing financial analysis and development of financial models to guide decision making
- Development of concept notes for identified initiatives
- Development of session presentations as required
- Attend business meetings/ conduct negotiations as may be delegated by the MD
- Work closely with other stakeholders across the company, such as operations, sales, and finance, to ensure delivery of assigned tasks.
- Carrying out special assignments as given by the MD
- Oversee the translation of high-level corporate strategies into specific business targets, operating plans and operational strategies; submit same to the MD for approval.
- Analyze and recommend emerging industry trends, expansion opportunities, competitive threats, viability of outside business partners, internal business performance and business process improvement.
- Provide actionable suggestions for responding to new threats plus opportunities rising in the marketplace.
- Provide strategic interventions and problem solving for assigned issues put forth by the MD.
- Participate in review of business proposals/ documents as assigned by the MD and make recommendations following such review.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills/experiences:
- Background in consulting (2-3 Years in a Big 4 Firm) is highly preferred
- Project/ portfolio management skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office tool
- Data Analysis and Financial Modelling Skills
- Analytical and critical thinking
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Negotiation and Cost-Benefit Analysis
- Decision-making skills
- Creation of presentations, reports and dashboards
