Job Title: Human Resources / Operations Lead

Job Summary
- Our client is seeking a dynamic and highly organized HR/Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, manage human resources functions, and supportbusiness development initiatives for the Firm.
- This role is pivotal in ensuring the firm operates efficiently, maintains a strong team culture, and grows its client base in alignment with our strategic goals.
- The candidate will work directly with the Managing Partner of the Firm.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:
- Oversee the firm’s daily administrative functions to ensure smooth operations.
- Implement and optimize processes for case management, client intake, and internal workflows.
- Manage office technology and systems, ensuring all tools are up-to-date and functioning effectively.
- Oversee vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-efficiency.
Human Resources:
- Lead recruitment efforts for legal and administrative roles, ensuring alignment with the firm’s culture and needs.
- Develop and implement onboarding and training programs for new hires.
- Manage employee performance evaluations, providing feedback and development plans.
- Handle payroll, benefits administration, and ensure compliance with labor laws and policies.
- Foster a positive workplace environment that supports employee engagement and retention.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue opportunities to grow the firm’s client base, including networking, partnerships, and referrals.
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives, such as email campaigns, social media, and event sponsorships.
- Track and analyze business development metrics to assess the effectiveness of growth strategies.
- Collaborate with attorneys to prepare proposals, pitches, and other client-facing materials.
Strategic Planning and Leadership:
- Contribute to the development and execution of the firm’s strategic goals.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve efficiency, profitability, and client satisfaction.
- Act as a liaison between management, staff, and clients to ensure open communication and alignment.
Financial Oversight:
- Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets and financial planning.
- Monitor and report on operational expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Support the firm’s billing and collections processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, human resources, or a related field; advanced degree or certification is a plus.
- 4+ years of experience in operations, HR, or business development, preferably ( but not mandatorily)in a legal or professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of law firm operations and business development strategies, is preferable but not mandatory
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in legal management software and office productivity tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
