Job Description
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Development Officer with solid Marketing experience to join our restaurant team.
Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research to identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Analyze customer feedback and industry data to identify new opportunities for growth.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Develop strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Promote the restaurant’s services, including dine-in, takeout, delivery, and catering options.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and other stakeholders.
- Respond to inquiries and negotiate contracts for group bookings and events.
Marketing and Branding:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns, discounts, and loyalty programs.
- Identify opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and community involvement to enhance brand visibility.
Business Strategy Development:
- Work with management to set sales and growth targets for the restaurant.
- Create action plans to achieve business goals and track progress.
Operational Support:
- Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth execution of events or promotions.
- Provide insights into customer preferences to improve menu offerings and services.
Networking and Community Engagement:
- Represent the restaurant at industry events, trade shows, and local business meetings.
- Build a network of contacts to generate referrals and partnerships.
Performance Monitoring:
- Prepare regular reports on sales, customer acquisition, and business development activities.
- Evaluate the success of campaigns and initiatives and recommend adjustments.
Customer Experience Improvement:
- Work closely with the customer service team to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve the overall dining experience.
Innovation:
- Identify and implement new trends in the restaurant industry, such as technology adoption or menu innovations.
Skills and Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Certification in Sales or Marketing is an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 – 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Remuneration
- Salary: N100,000 – N150,000 Monthly.
- Accommodation will be provided.
