Job Title: Pastry Chef / Baker
Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Description
- Prepare and bake pastries, desserts, bread, cakes, and other baked goods.
- Follow recipes and create new innovative desserts.
- Monitor baking processes and adjust temperatures and times as necessary.
- Decorate cakes, tarts, and other pastries with precision.
- Use tools like piping bags, molds, and edible decorations.
- Collaborate with chefs to design and update dessert menus.
- Experiment with flavor profiles and presentation techniques.
- Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
- Monitor ingredient quality and freshness.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
- Comply with health and safety standards.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Work closely with other kitchen staff and chefs.
- Train junior pastry cooks or kitchen assistants.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an SSCE qualification with 2 – 4 years relevant work experience.
