Role Summary
- The Digital Marketing Assistant will be responsible for executing digital marketing strategies, running Google Ads campaigns, building landing pages, creating engaging content, and managing the organisation’s social media presence.
- The individual will play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement for multiple brands across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
Google Ads Campaign Management:
- Plan, create, and optimise Google Ads campaigns, including Search, Display, Shopping, and Video Ads, to achieve targeted goals.
- Conduct keyword research, ad copywriting, and audience segmentation for effective campaign performance.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and provide actionable insights to improve ROI.
Landing Page Development:
- Design and build high-converting landing pages tailored to specific campaigns and audiences.
- Use tools such as WordPress, or landing page builders like LeadzConnect.
- Ensure landing pages are optimised for SEO, mobile responsiveness, and user experience.
Content Creation:
- Write high-quality articles, blogs, and other written content to support digital marketing efforts and enhance brand visibility.
- Develop engaging social media posts and captions tailored to each platform’s audience.
- Collaborate with the team to create compelling marketing copy for campaigns, newsletters, and promotions.
Social Media Marketing:
- Manage social media accounts for multiple brands, creating and scheduling content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok.
- Monitor social media performance and engagement, using analytics to refine strategies.
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends to keep content fresh and relevant.
Marketing Automation & Analytics:
- Leverage marketing automation tools to create email campaigns, lead nurturing workflows, and customer engagement programs.
- Track and analyse key performance metrics across campaigns, providing regular reports and actionable insights.
- Continuously optimise campaigns based on data to maximise performance. Hands-On Execution
- Actively take ownership of day-to-day digital marketing tasks from Day 1.
- Proactively address challenges and deliver results with minimal supervision.
- Work across teams to ensure all campaigns are aligned with brand objectives.
Candidate Profile Technical Skills
- A Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, including Google Ads management, content creation, and social media.
- Proven experience in running Google Ads campaigns across different formats (Search, Display, Video, and Shopping Ads).
- Proficiency in building and managing landing pages using tools such as WordPress, Unbounce, Instapage, or similar platforms.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to create high-quality articles, blogs, and marketing copy.
- Hands-on experience with social media management tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of marketing automation platforms like LeadzConnect.
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and similar tools.
Soft Skills:
- Self-starter with the ability to hit the ground running from Day 1.
- Strong multitasking and organisational skills to manage multiple projects and brands simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a team-oriented mindset.
- Analytical thinker with attention to detail and a results-driven approach. Experience & Qualifications
- A portfolio showcasing previous campaigns, landing pages, and written content is required.
