Job Title: HR Officer

Location: Ajah – Ibeju Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Objective

  • The HR Manager will oversee the company’s human resource functions, ensuring that the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
  • This role involves implementing HR strategies, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and HR best practices. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in aligning the workforce with the company’s objectives.
  • This role is ideal for a results-driven HR professional passionate about building high-performing teams and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment processes to attract qualified candidates and onboard new employees effectively.
  • Performance Management: Develop and manage performance evaluation systems to ensure employee growth and organizational success.
  • HR Policies: Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures in line with labor laws and organizational goals.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns and maintaining open communication.
  • Training & Development: Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs to support professional growth.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and employee welfare programs.
  • Compliance: Ensure the company complies with labor regulations and HR best practices.
  • HR Analytics: Maintain employee records and prepare HR reports for decision-making.
  • Leadership Support: Act as a strategic partner to leadership, providing insights and advice on HR-related matters.

Requirements

  • Education: BSc or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification: Chartered membership in CIPM is mandatory or other related qualifications.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of professional HR management experience.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software/tools.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.

Salary
N250,000 – N400,000 Monthly plus other benefits
