Job Description
- We seek an individual with excellent Chinese and English translation skills and marketing experience to join our marketing team. This position primarily supports our marketing operations and translation efforts in the Nigerian market.
- The ideal candidate will actively participate in marketing campaigns, contributing ideas and assisting with Chinese and Nigerian cultural exchange activities.

Responsibilities
Translation and Communication:
- Translate internal documents, communications between the Chinese and Nigerian teams, and marketing content from Chinese to English and vice versa.
- Assist with the translation of Chinese documents into English for Nigerian operations, ensuring accuracy and cultural adaptability.
- Provide Chinese-English interpretation support during business trips to ensure smooth communication.
Marketing Operations:
- Assist in planning and executing localized marketing campaigns, including event planning, promotion, and implementation.
- Support both online and offline marketing activities, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of objectives.
- Collaborate with the design, content, and product teams to complete marketing-related tasks.
Cultural Exchange and Promotion:
- Deeply understand both Chinese and Nigerian cultures to optimize marketing strategies based on cultural characteristics.
- Promote cultural exchange with local partners to enhance the brand’s cultural adaptability.
- Provide innovative suggestions based on market insights to address local market needs.
Requirements
Educational Background:
- Preferably has studied at a Chinese university.
- Majors in Marketing, Communications, Linguistics, or related fields are preferred.
Professional Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English, with fluency in business scenarios.
- Familiarity with marketing and operations processes; candidates with relevant experience are preferred.
- Strong understanding of Chinese culture and enthusiasm for promoting cultural exchange between China and Nigeria.
Work Ethic:
- Proactive, with strong teamwork skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Passionate about marketing, with strong execution and innovative thinking skills.
- Capable of handling high-intensity workloads, especially during business trips.
Additional Preferences:
- Familiarity with the Nigerian market and culture.
- Sensitivity to cultural differences between China and Nigeria and the ability to adapt effectively.
- Skills in content writing, social media management, or event planning are a plus.
