Description
- Chief Security Officer (CSO) must be someone who knows how to develop, implement, and manage the security strategies and programs that safeguard the organization’s employees, assets, and operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and protocols.
- Oversee physical security measures, including access controls, surveillance systems, and emergency preparedness.
- Monitor and respond to potential security threats, breaches, and incidents.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
- Manage and lead the security team, including training and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to security.
- Act as the point of contact during crises and coordinate emergency response plans.
- Liaise with law enforcement and external security providers as needed.
- Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management or a related field
- Extensive experience in security operations and management (minimum 8 years).
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment, crisis management, and incident response.
- Familiarity with physical security systems, tools, and technologies.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
