Job Summary
- As our Assistant Audit Manager you will be responsible for planning, organizing and carrying out the internal Audit & controls functions as well as providing thorough assistance for the Internal Audit Manager in the company.
- Assistant Audit Manager will work closely with the manager to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Manager with developing, reviewing, and implementing compliance policies, programs, and procedures.
- Documenting and making reports of identified control issues discovered in the course of the vetting process and how they were resolved.
- Reviewing the systems established to ensure compliance with those policies, plans, procedures, laws, and regulations that could have significant impact on operations and reports, and determining whether the organization is in compliance.
- Assist with developing and executing internal audit activities, consult with management on strategic plans and other business matters, and anticipate emerging risks.
Requirements
- HND / B.Sc Degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Economics or any social science related field
- Professional Certification; ICAN, ACCA, CISA, CIA etc.
- A minimum of 3 – 5 years relevant audit experience in a financial institution or external audit firm.
- Experience in basic accounting software applications is a plus etc.
Salary
N350,000 – N450,000 monthly.
