Job Summary
- A dedicated and results-driven Sales and Distribution Executive with over 5 years of experience in the detergent sector, responsible for managing regional sales, optimizing distribution channels, and driving revenue growth.
- Possesses strong expertise in building relationships with key distributors, retailers, and customers, while ensuring the effective execution of sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Distribution Management:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in assigned regions.
- Manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners to ensure timely product availability.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation to order fulfillment, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive activity, and customer needs in the detergent market.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
- Analyze sales performance and recommend corrective actions to improve growth.
Product Promotion & Marketing:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and product launches.
- Support in the development and execution of brand-building initiatives in local markets.
- Train and guide sales teams on product features, benefits, and selling techniques.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain and build strong relationships with existing customers while seeking new business opportunities.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues related to product quality, delivery, and service.
- Ensure that customers’ needs are met, thereby fostering loyalty and long-term partnerships.
Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:
- Work closely with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure stock availability and minimize stockouts.
- Monitor stock levels at distributors and retailers, suggesting reorders when needed to avoid supply disruptions.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Provide training and leadership to junior sales staff, ensuring a high level of performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to align sales objectives with company goals.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- 5 years of proven experience in sales and distribution, preferably in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or detergent industry.
- Previous experience with leading brands in the detergent or home care category is an advantage.
