- If you are one of those people, the Norwegian Refugee Council in Nigeria is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Logistics Officer to join our team in Jos, Plateau State. The purpose of the ICLA Officer is to lead in the day-to-day implementation of ICLA project activities. Under the supervision of the ICLA Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines
- Implement delegated CC project portfolio according to plan of action
- Prepare and develop status reports as required by management
- Ensure proper filing of documentsÂ
- Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need, and explore and asses new and better ways to assist
- Promote and share ideas for technical improvement
- Organize and deliver tasks in line with priorities and standards.Â
- Develop and adapt training and information dissemination materials.Â
- Contribute to organisational learning through the provision specific technical analysis, lessons learned and reports.
- Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need of protection, explore and asses new and better ways to assist.
- Monitor and report on the project activities and ensure compliance with plans and NRC standards.
- Ensure proper filing of relevant documents according to procedures.
- Develop status reports, including documentation of project achievements and deliverables; and
- Perform any other professional duties as requested by the coordinator and Project Manager.

Qualifications
Professional competencies:
- Degree in Law, Political Science, International Relations, or Social Sciences.Â
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a humanitarian context. Â
- Demonstrated knowledge of housing, land and property and dispute resolution mechanisms.
- Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Context related skills, knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of the context in Plateau State.Â
- Ability to speak Hausa and one additional local language preferred.
- Candidates from Plateau State preferred.
