Job Summary
- We seek a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team.
- As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily kitchen operations, assisting the Executive Chef, and ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
- Oversee food preparation, plating, and presentation.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Collaborate in menu development and costing.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff.
- Manage inventory control and food ordering.
- Conduct regular quality checks on food and beverage items.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess an HND with 4 – 6 years experience.
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role.
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cuisines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Food safety certification.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Salary
N300,000 – N400,000 Monthly.
