Job Summary

  • Assist in performing routine maintenance and repairs on various electrical equipment and systems that operate within our cement production facility. This involves not only adhering to established safety protocols but also ensuring that all electrical components are functioning optimally, which is critical to the efficiency and productivity of our operations.
  • Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting electrical issues, conducting regular inspections, and implementing preventative maintenance measures to minimize downtime and enhance the overall reliability of our equipment.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Support senior technicians in diagnosing electrical issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Participate in the installation and commissioning of new electrical machinery and systems as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
  • Document maintenance and repair activities, maintaining accurate records of work completed.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risk and ensure workplace safety.
  • Take part in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in electrical maintenance.
  • Assist in managing inventory for electrical supplies and tools needed for repairs and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in electrical maintenance or a technical role, preferably in the cement industry.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, components, and maintenance practices.
  • Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
