We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pharmaceutical and Logistics Associate

Location: Kaduna
Grant duration: Subject to availability of funds and exceptional grant performance

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The incumbent will plan and support the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care services and the implementation of an efficient health commodity logistics system for the organization by donor requirements and stipulated guidelines of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
  • He/She will ensure the rational use of ARVs & OIs and monitors utilization through pharmacy best practices and pharmacovigilance to achieve definite program outcomes.
  • The role will involve being responsible for the state-level implementation, monitoring, service quality governance and reporting of community pharmacy differentiated service delivery model and the collaboration with the State Logistics Management Coordinating Unit (LMCU) to oversee the supply chain management of pharmaceuticals and related commodities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or other relevant field with prior experience in pharmaceutical services delivery and supply chain management
  • At least 2 years’ experience in related programming in developing countries.
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical service delivery, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management.
  • Proficiency in the use of electronic Logistic Management Information Systems e.g. NAVISION
  • Proficiency in MS Access, SPSS, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and other Office packages.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the demonstrable ability to develop written reports for decision-making.
  • Knowledge of local language will be an asset.
