Job Description
- The Operations and Logistics role requires overseeing logistics operations across the entire country, ensuring efficient inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and risk management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive logistics and operations strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior management to align logistics activities with business goals and objectives
- Oversee the entire logistics and supply chain operations including inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to various locations across the country.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers
- Supervise inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize wastage.
- Implement effective warehousing strategies to maximize space utilization and ensure safety and security of stored products.
- Coordinate and oversee transportation and haulage operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
Job Requirements
- BSc / HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics and operations management within the FMCG sector, specifically in the cable and wire industry.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, transportation, warehousing, and risk management.
- Proficiency in e-commerce and logistics software.
Salary
N300,000 – N400,000 monthly.
