We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Land Development Manager

Job Description

  • Diagnoses mechanical failures and repairs tractor/tractor components according to manuals, factory specifications and knowledge of engine performances, using hand tools, power tools and testing instruments: Attaches compression, ignition and timing test instruments to certain parts of tractor, using clamps and hand tools.
  • Knowledge in JD 9000 series tractor repair and maintenance, fuel injector, transmission & hydraulic calibrations.
  • Knowledge in JD Service Adviser and troubleshooting / diagnose.
  • Starts engine dials and reads meters and gauges of testing equipment to diagnose engine malfunction.
  • Plan and ordering adequate spares for equipment availabilities and smother operation.
  • Ability to do annual maintenance budget and spares.
  • Removes and disassembles engine, transmission, axles, brakes, hydraulics and handling of workshop special tools, hoists, jacks and hand tools.
  • Inspects parts for damage and verifies dimensions and clearances of parts for conformance to factory specifications, using gauges, tools.
  • Replaces or repairs worn or damaged parts.
  • General: Grinds valves, adjusting, tightens body bolts, weld defective body or frame parts, machining, etc.
  • Safety protocol should be followed in workplace.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with minimum 8 – 10 year’s experience in John Deere
  • Completion of an accredited John Deere tractor mechanic program
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmission, hydraulics & electricals
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment and tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and leading the service team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.
