Job Overview

  • We are looking for a proactive and strategic Business Development Officer to join our team.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and contributing to the overall growth and success of our health services.
  • You will report directly to the Business Development Head, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the health sector.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential partners, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Head to create and implement business strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients and partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in business development, preferably in the health sector.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven track record of achieving business development targets.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent writing, communication and listening skills in a wide range of methods.
  • Review and analyse large amounts of information, extract relevant content and re-write to ensure accurate and up-to-date bid content.
  • Excellent negotiation, networking, and persuasive skills
  • The ability to organize workload, manage time and prioritize work accordingly to work to tight deadlines.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to present and write reports/tenders.
