In addition, our prolific manpower cuts across the 36 states in Nigeria. After successfully gaining ground in all the 36 states of the federation, we are gradually spreading our tentacles to other African Nations. We are currently registered to also do business in Ghana. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Branch Head (Business Development)

Locations: Delta and Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Meet and surpass set Key performance targets
  • Maintaining existing business relationships with brokers, retail, life, and direct customers to ensure that quality services has granted them for repeat patronage
  • Management of daily operations provided training and information to staff, reviewed market trends/competition and established/implemented successful incentives.
  • Management of priorities through planning and execution to drive all aspects of branch performance, including individual expectations for outside business development.
  • Maintain Customer service excellence with account follow-up, account visit checklist, Representative accountability, and exceeding the customer’s expectations.
  • Maintain profit and loss accountability by overseeing sales, customer service, business office operations, asset management, and inventory control.
  • Development of new business leads and prospects.
  • Mentor/train team members on marketing skills and personal comportment.
  • Prompt receipt of reports as needed by management.
  • Providing up-to-date market information to the management for operational/business strategy.
  • Responsible for developing other new sources of premium income for the company.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in any discipline.
  • A master’s degree is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in finance, sales or a relevant business role.
  • Proven work experience in an insurance firm is a must.
  • At least two years of experience in a management/supervisory role.
  • Membership of CIIN.
  • Ability to perform general analysis and review of financial statements, participated in annual strategic planning with upper management.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of business dynamics.
