Job Description
- We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pastoral Professional to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Student Support: Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address students’ emotional, social, and academic needs.
- Mentorship: Offer guidance and support to students, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their goals.
- Crisis Intervention: Respond to student crises promptly and effectively, providing immediate support and resources.
- Parent and Teacher Collaboration: Build strong relationships with parents and teachers to ensure a comprehensive approach to student well-being.
- Program Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of pastoral care programs and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: First Degree or Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in a school counseling or pastoral care setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and teachers.
- Certification: Valid counseling license or certification (if required in the local jurisdiction).
