Description
- They are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Chief Security Officer to oversee the security operations of our school.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel, ensuring their adherence to established standards.
- Conduct regular security assessments and risk evaluations to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Investigate security incidents and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Manage security systems, including access control, surveillance, and alarm systems.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies to maintain strong working relationships.
- Train and develop security personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in security management, preferably in an educational setting.
- Proven track record of successful security operations and leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in security management (e.g., Certified Protection Professional (CPP)) is preferred.
