We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Catering Officer (Supervisor)
Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise cooks, stewards, and waitresses
- Balance sales with account officers
- Establish and enforce comprehensive food safety regulations
- Track inventory and order food and supplies
- Supervise food production and distribution
- Ensure high-quality food production
- Plan and prepare menus with dietitians
- Maintain a hygienic and safe kitchen environment
- Respond to customer issues and requests
- Record and report incidents or challenges
Qualifications
- OND/HND in Business Management, Food Science and Technology, Human Nutrition, Public Health or any other related field.
- Culinary certification will be an added advantage
- At least 1 year experience in a standard catering service doing similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to read and write
- Understand good practice with regard to food quality, hygiene and customer care
Personal Attributes:
- Effective communicator
- Good interpersonal skills
- Adherence to Professional dress codes
- Meet deadlines and work efficiently
