Job Title: Geoscientist
Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities
- Integrating geological, petrophysical, geophysical, and other field data as required to understand both regional geology and reservoir architecture.
- Geological, Geophysical, reservoir, and production data gathering and analysis
- Generate and interpret geologic data, create maps, cross sections, and 3D models
- Perform field evaluation studies, development planning, resource maturation, and risk mitigation.
- Seismic and well data interpretation to define subsurface geological structure and stratigraphy.
- Conducts comprehensive reservoir characterization studies, including Log-to-core integration, mapping, sequence stratigraphy, and conceptual 3D geological modeling (Facies and reservoir properties).
- Utilize Geological data (wells, seismic, etc.), reservoir properties, and production data to estimate Original Oil in Place (OOIP) and/or production performance.
- Contribute to field development plans through well-opportunity identification, planning, maturation, and execution.
Qualifications & Skills
- BSc in relevant Earth Science discipline and a minimum of 5 years post NYSC relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team interfacing with other Earth scientists and Engineers (including reservoir, production, well, and facilities engineers)
- Strong technical and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in data management and quality control
- Proficiency in geologic software, including Petrel and 3D modeling programs
Salary Budget
N52,000,000 net per year.
