Jami Al Hakeem Foundation (J-HF) is a women-led, nonprofit, non-governmental organization, registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in 2008. J-HF delivers humanitarian and developmental interventions across communities that covers various sectors; Education, WASH, Governance, Livelihood Empowerment, Protection, Community Security, Peace building, Food Security and Nutrition.
The interventions of J-HF target marginalized and underserved communities with special focus on youths, elderly, people with special needs, women, and girls. J-HF has experience in execution of sustainable programmes that transform communities. Jami Al Hakeem presently operates in 4 states from the Northeast region of Nigeria; Adamawa, Borno, Yobe and Gombe with the Head Office in Yola, Adamawa State.

Job Title: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer

Job Description
- Develop a comprehensive project M&E plan aligned with project objectives, indicators, and data collection methods.
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data on project activities, outputs, outcomes, and impact.
- Prepare regular monitoring reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and achievements.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor project implementation and identify any challenges
- Conduct field visits to monitor project implementation and identify challenges.
- Facilitate participatory monitoring activities with communities.
- Prepare and submit timely M&E reports, including key findings and recommendations.
- Conduct baseline, midline and end line surveys to assess project impact.
- Contribute to the development of lessons learned and best practices.

Technical Expertise, Skills, Knowledge, and Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Education, Social Science, Social Work, Psychology or related fields.
- Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum of Four (4) years of cognate experience within the developmental or humanitarian sector.
- Have worked before directly with children
- Good knowledge of the EiE Working Group, and understand the education situation of the northeast Nigeria.
- Experience in data collection and analysis using quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Good knowledge of Child Safeguarding, PSEA Policies, MHPSS and the concept of Do No Harm, and good at working with children and vulnerable people especial in emergency settings.
