Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and skilled Resident Doctor with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join our healthcare team in Ebonyi State.
- As a Resident Doctor, you will provide high-quality medical care, leadership, and education to patients, residents, and medical students in our facility.
- You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized care and promote optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of various medical conditions
- Lead and supervise junior medical staff, including interns and resident doctors
- Participate in ward rounds, clinics, and emergency duties
- Develop and implement treatment plans, protocols, and guidelines
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and consultants
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committees
- Maintain accurate and timely records and reports
- Comply with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a resident doctor
- Registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)
- Strong clinical, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiarity with Nigerian healthcare regulations and standards
Other Qualifications:
- Post-graduate certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics)
- Experience in medical education and training
- Research experience and publications.
