HRLeverage Africa – Our client, an Inflight Catering Services Provider, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bakery Chef de Partie

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and arrangement of materials to be used for meal preparation before work begins
  • Prepare the baked meals for airlines using the menu specifications provided and communicated safety guidelines
  • Preparation of all baked items within set deadlines to avoid delay
  • Follow good preservation standards for the proper handling of all food products at the right temperature
  • Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctioning
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef -in- Charge and Executive Chef

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Customer Satisfaction.
  • Compliance with Chefs recipes process and specified menus
  • Timely preparation of meals
  • Compliance with the internal guidelines, policies and strategies.
  • Compliance with HACCP rules.
  • Develop and implement job rotation plan
  • Succession Planning

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years relevant baking experience in high volume multi-menu food operation
  • Culinary degree, OND or equivalent qualification
  • Working knowledge of food safety service and procedure
  • Basic communication skills
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
