Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and tech-savvy individual to join our team as an IT/Social Media Volunteer. This role will primarily focus on supporting our organization’s IT infrastructure and managing our social media presence. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, creative thinking abilities, and excellent communication skills. This volunteer role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the IT and social media fields while making a meaningful impact on our organization’s mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to promote our initiatives, engage with our audience, and increase our online presence.
  • Manage and update our organization’s website to ensure it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and visually appealing.
  • Create and curate compelling content for our various social media platforms, including impactful stories, images, videos, and infographics.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute creative digital campaigns that align with our organization’s goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media and digital marketing to continuously improve our online presence.

Requirements:

  • Bsc/HND/ND in IT, computer science, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing social media platforms and creating engaging content.
  • Strong knowledge of social media tools, analytics, and trends.
  • Proficiency in website management, including WordPress, HTML, and CSS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for social causes and a desire to make a positive impact.
